THRUST IN THE SICKLE "Thrust in the sickle" --- the command carries with it the idea there is something into which the sickle must be "thrust." In one fleeting moment you are swept past all human thought taking and meandering of human thought, and are faced by a command emanating from the Source. The word thrust incorporates no hesitancy, no speculation, no wondering, thinking or trying to devise a way. It is a decisive, definite gesture and carries with it intense action. It is suddenly the harvest, as indicated by the word sickle. It is true the harvest is ripe and plentiful but the laborers (lovers) are few. There is little difference between "Come to me" across the water --- and "Thrust in the sickle" --- both of them set aside every human thought and automatically cause one to act from the inspiration of the Almighty. When this gesture is made, when the thrust is made, the results appear. No command of Jesus, when obeyed, can do anything other than reveal the infinite fulfillment. The ground whereon you stand is Holy - -- why worry? That ground is a place sanctified. Can you imagine any human force or power able to pass over the "Holy Ground" without being utterly destroyed --- cut to pieces, confounded, scattered in ten directions? When you follow the commands of Jesus Christ you are on sanctified ground, holy ground. When these commands are obeyed and the beautiful gesture of accomplishment is made, the "Look Again" takes place. Manifestation appears automatically. Few believe. Do you? If so be still, very still. "Come to me" is another command. No one can help you; there are no instructions --- there is no waiting. It is culminated by your ability to "without thought" make the gesture. "Stretch forth your hand" is a beautiful gesture of consciousness. Who, by taking thought, can do it? Who by reason can accomplish it? Who can help but do it, if he hears the COMMAND and knows that in the command is the infinite power of fulfillment. It is wonderful --- filled with golden wonder. We are only emerging from the Red Sea of ancestor teaching. Suddenly we begin to HEAR, and are as the Arab who folds his tent and steals away from the man who breath is in his nostril. Alone we make the gesture, we run onto the point of the sword. We see Excalibur float upon the surface of the waters, we begin to experience that which cannot take place. It has already taken place in the Mind of God. "Thrust in the sickle." What a command to contemplate for a moment, an hour, or until you have the brief encounter with the Father. Then you RISE and GO --- where? Into the consciousness of the COMMAND, and find yourself entirely equipped with everything necessary to do that which you formerly could not do. So much is hidden from the wise and prudent in the words of Jesus Christ. Remember the command is freighted with everything necessary to accomplish. "Thrust in the sickle," when heard, instantly places you symbolically in a field of golden grain, ready and waiting to be garnered. Will you Arise NOW, or will you go through a thousand other manifestations, before you come to NOW, and "Thrust in the sickle." You are told "ye shall gather where you have not sown." "Thrust in the sickle." Do you hear? Time after time you have been right "THERE," almost at the very point, and the old ancestor teaching came in and absorbed the oil, and the bride-groom entered without you. But when you actually hear the command you will make the gesture and find out that the Commands of Jesus Christ, when heard, "Pass through the land like a river." You shall reap. You shall be silent, secret; awed by the magnanimity of it all. Like the rushing of mighty waters shall the Power of the command pass through the temple. It is wonderful. Not many believe. Put the coal of fire on your lips and let it happen to you. "Thrust in the sickle." Do you hear NOW? That sudden movement in "Stretch forth your hand" comes automatically from pure acceptance of the fact that God is greater than the highest accepted beliefs of man. "Thrust in the sickle" --- Do you hear? Go ahead!!!
